I loved performing there a few years back! Well.. more than I want to admit! Bloomsbury first for Bugsy Malone! Then the Shaw Theatre for Fame then the Novello for OMG and then the Stratford Circus for Quality street! Good times! Miss it so much want to get back into it! Maybe even have my own Make Believe!

From doing MB Annie, Bugsy Malone and then Fame, it actually gave me the confidence to do my Musical Theatre singing exams. Honestly, it gave me so much confidence!

Fantastic memories that will last a lifetime, Morgan & Scarlett loved their time at Make Believe and also helped us through a bad time in our lives, it gave Morgan the opportunity to live her dream so much so that she’s still doing it at 18 and for many more years to come, without you all believing in her I don’t think she’d be where she is today!

Hello, I’m Lisa Best, Principal of Make Believe Greenwich. With over 30 years of experience working with children across nurseries, schools, after-school and holiday clubs, supporting young people has always been at the heart of what I do. As a mother of five and a grandmother, I understand how important it is for children to develop confidence, creativity, resilience and the freedom to express themselves. I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership, and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (0–19). My passion for performing arts began in primary school and has stayed with me throughout my life. I’ve created and supported performances for arts and charity events and have seen first-hand how singing, dancing and acting can transform a child’s confidence. I also spent nine years as a Baby Room Leader, where I coordinated music and movement activities. This gave me a real appreciation of how creativity can support children’s development from their earliest years. I’m currently studying Event Management at university, continuing to develop my skills in creating engaging and memorable experiences. At Make Believe Greenwich, I want every child to feel welcomed, encouraged and able to be themselves. Performing arts are about so much more than being on stage—they build confidence, teamwork, discipline, creativity and friendships.
