I am Junita Kern, Principal here at Leytonstone. There is nothing more rewarding to me than seeing children truly express themselves and develop as brilliant and fantastic young people. Together with my creative team of inspiring teachers, we aim to provide children aged 3-18 years with a platform to develop and explore their skills when venturing into the wonderful world of the Make Believe performing arts journey.
Whether your child is already a star in the making, a talent not yet discovered, could use some help with boosting their confidence and social development, or simply would like to learn something new, we have something for everyone here at Leytonstone.

From doing MB Annie, Bugsy Malone and then Fame, it actually gave me the confidence to do my Musical Theatre singing exams. Honestly, it gave me so much confidence!

I loved performing there a few years back! Well.. more than I want to admit! Bloomsbury first for Bugsy Malone! Then the Shaw Theatre for Fame then the Novello for OMG and then the Stratford Circus for Quality street! Good times! Miss it so much want to get back into it! Maybe even have my own Make Believe!

Fantastic memories that will last a lifetime, Morgan & Scarlett loved their time at Make Believe and also helped us through a bad time in our lives, it gave Morgan the opportunity to live her dream so much so that she’s still doing it at 18 and for many more years to come, without you all believing in her I don’t think she’d be where she is today!
