Welcome to Make Believe Southgate, your local arts theatre school. I’m Vanessa Bergman, the branch manager, and together with my enthusiastic team, we aim to provide our students with a great platform from which to grow, gain confidence and prepare for a rewarding career in the performing arts. Make Believe encourages social development amongst its students and lays the foundation of life skills which will help you no matter which path you choose to go down.
Whatever your preference may be; musical theatre, dance, drama or anything else! – we have something for you here at Make Believe.

I remember Logann starting Monday evenings at Oaks Park. Some amazing times had over the 8 years she was a Make Believer!

From doing MB Annie, Bugsy Malone and then Fame, it actually gave me the confidence to do my Musical Theatre singing exams. Honestly, it gave me so much confidence!

Fantastic memories that will last a lifetime, Morgan & Scarlett loved their time at Make Believe and also helped us through a bad time in our lives, it gave Morgan the opportunity to live her dream so much so that she’s still doing it at 18 and for many more years to come, without you all believing in her I don’t think she’d be where she is today!

I loved performing there a few years back! Well.. more than I want to admit! Bloomsbury first for Bugsy Malone! Then the Shaw Theatre for Fame then the Novello for OMG and then the Stratford Circus for Quality street! Good times! Miss it so much want to get back into it! Maybe even have my own Make Believe!
